1. The winner of 4 lies and a fib is....Erin! I have been married, but I have no clue how to write calligraphy. My hand writing looks like a 3-year-old boys. Way to go Erin!
And I'd like to say something about your answers (Bethany, Eli, Piper and Paty) - why is it none of you picked #5? Do you all readily believe and not question the idea of me peeing my pants? Not cool, people. Not cool.
2. My dog was adorable in her princess dress last night. As you can see in the second pic, she's a licker.
3. NaNoWriMo has begun! I'm proud to say I already have half today's word count done. Woohoo! My plan is to write 2,000 - 2,500 words during the week so I can spend the weekend editing.
4. You HAVE to read this post by Lit Agent X if you are on the agent search. It seems so many writers expect personalized rejections or don't realize how special it is when they receive one. Think about how busy an agent is. Read the post to remind yourself that they struggle too.

I need a Ted Bundy shirt for Saturday! Or would I be risking my life?
Good for you for doing NaNoWriMo. That is how I started writing. I read an article about it in the Oregonian two years ago and thought "I could do that!" I didn't make it for Nov. but I finished the 100k book before spring.
Sigh. Makes me sentimental for the time when writing was uncomplicated. How's the song go...I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
Piper - "so obviously true." Nice to see your opinion of me is so high. Lol!
Kendra - You totally need one! Mine was a gift, I'm trying to remember where he got it. I think on Ebay.
You summed it up perfectly with that song, lol. It's so true. Writing when the words came, not worrying about how much it will take to edit...
Do you tailgate? Maybe I'll see you (amongst the 50,000 people, lol).
Yeah. No. #5 didn't fool me. Ass-Flasher and Pants-Pee'er. That's you summed up in a nutshell.
Cute baby dog pics. You're sick, you know that?
Lisa, we do know you too well! LOL
I figured you would be one of those people who did everything yourself and were artsy. Guess I was wrong!
Eli - Yeah, I know I'm sick. It's good she's not human or she'd probably be in therapy by now.
Paty - Well, actually...I tried to learn how to do caligraphy so I could do it myself. Lol. It just didn't work. So you weren't wrong :-)
a cat? A CAT? I'll let that slide. This time :-)
Thanks Amanda! She's such a sweetie and does the cutest things. Like while I was at work yesterday she found a way to leap from the recliner to the dining room table and chewed up more books. Such a doll. lol. She sleeps on my bed with me and curls up on my should and lays her head across my throat. It's so cute!
Hahaha! That's quite all right. I actually intended to get a doberman pinscher for a dog, that's what we had growing up. But a certain someone who shall remain nameless insisted on a "small" dog. I wanted a dog so badly that I reluctantly agreed. But lucky for me she's a big dog trapped in a small body and people walking by my house are frightened of her bark. Woohoo! :-) So, alas, I am a "manly" dog person too.
Woohoo! I guessed it!
I'll be at the Con-Agra or Miller Beer/Heinekin Tailgaters. Hubby works for Safeway and will be one of the presenters after the 1st quarter for some half-million dollar challenge thingy. (I obviously listened very closely.)
We've got one of the skyboxes this game. Woohoo! Let it rain. Would it be uncool to take my Alphasmart?
On my way to check e-bay.
Only a Ted Bundy escort service t-shirt. yuk
A skybox? Woohoo! No, it wouldn't be dorky at all. I've lugged my Alpha to several games :-) It's a 4 hour game! You can get a lot of writing done in that amount of time. ;-)
Sorry they had no t-shirts...maybe someone will sell them at the game. Maybe we should make some and sell them at the next Husky game!
